Family is everything. The are the people who form you, who help you grow, and will always be there in times you never knew you'd need them most. I come from a large close-knit eclectic Northeastern family, sprinkled with generations of differences, beauty, and unique qualities. While living in Colorado photographing families gives me an opportunity to connect with a missing component in my own personal life. I photograph family shoots with an idea in my mind if these photos are "Nana's mantel worthy" - as my grandmother had a photo of every baby in her family, and you bet it had to meet a certain standard.
